Code of conduct

Our community is built on trust.

To ensure the safety of dogs and borrowers, and to provide peace of mind to both borrowers and owners, by joining Meet My Doffo, you commit to respecting the Code of Conduct. Individuals who do not adhere to this code or behave irresponsibly may be removed from our community.

The owners' agreement

When you leave your little dog, you should do everything possible to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible between them and the person who will take care of them.

As a pet owner, I commit to providing comprehensive and accurate information about my dog in their profile and information sheet to prevent any inconvenience.
When I entrust my dog to a borrower of my choice, I commit to being available by phone in case of emergency.
I also commit to being punctual in my meetings with the borrower (both for dropping off my dog and picking it up).
I commit to getting to know the borrowers before handing over my dog to them, to allow my dog to build a relationship with the borrowers and ensure their well-being.

The borrowers' agreement

Being entrusted with a dog, whether for a few hours or several days, is an enriching experience, but it’s also a great responsibility.

As a borrower, I commit to providing accurate information in my profile, using my real first and last names, a recent photo, and all possible information about my experience with dogs.
I commit to paying the utmost attention to the safety and well-being of the dog I am borrowing and to follow the owner's instructions to the letter.
Outside of my home, I will keep the dog on a leash at all times, unless I have written permission from the owner
I will never leave a little dog alone in the presence of a child, strangers, or in a car.
When I am taking care of a dog, I will contact the owner regularly, sending them text messages or even photos of their pet.
"I will respect the agreed-upon schedules with the owner of the dog I am borrowing, for both picking up and returning the dog
